Ms. Kristy Nettie Abrecht, 33, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Burck Street, Frederick, died Friday, March 1, at
Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.
Born April 29, 1968, in Frederick, she was a daughter of Frank M. Abrecht of Phoenix, Ariz., and the late Elizabeth
Mae Jacobs Abrecht, who died Feb. 26, 2002.
Ms. Abrecht was employed as a home care nurse with Glasser Home Care in Phoenix, Ariz.
She had a great love for animals.
In addition to her father, she is survived by one daughter, Caroline Nettie Abrecht of Phoenix; seven brothers,
Robert Jacobs and wife Chris of Williamsport, Thomas Wolfe II and wife Hope of Hagerstown, Frank Abrecht Jr.
and wife Linda of Walkersville, Ronald Abrecht and wife Kathy of Libertytown, Thomas Abrecht and wife June of
Walkersville, Keith Abrecht of Boonsboro, and Terry Abrecht and wife Judy of Silver Spring; one sister, Deborah
Jacobs of Waynesboro, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 5, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown
Pike, Frederick.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, at the funeral home. The. Rev. Drew Smith,
associate pastor of Frederick Baptist Temple, will officiate.
Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
