Rev. Kennamer Dies After Announcing Text - Tri-Cities Daily -
Rev. W. A. Kennamer, pastor of the East Florence Methodist Church fell dead in his pulpit last evening at the 7 o'clock service just after announcing his text, which was taken from Romans, second chapter and 29th verse. Death came almost instantly.

Mr. Kennamer was apparently as well as usual, having preached at the morning hour. He had been in good health, since recovering from an attack of measles and pneumonia, which he suffered shortly after taking up this charge last fall.

He had been a faithful Methodist minister for 30 years. He came to Florence from Center Star from this conference. He leaves his wife of, Florence, and one brother of, Woodville.

The funeral was conducted from his church this morning at 11 o'clock by Rev. George E. Boyd, pastor of, the First Church, assisted by Rev M. W. McCain, former pastor of the East Florence Church. The Rev. George E. Bpyd, and Mr. Leonard Lindsey. William Asaph Kennamer, 17 October 1857 - 19 April 1914, buried Pisgah Cemetery in Marshall County.
