Warren Wayne "Bud" Brown, 75, of New Bethlehem, died Saturday evening, April 13, 2002, at his home following a brief illness. Born April 24, 1923, in Porter Township, Clarion County, he was a son of the late Elwin and Ruth (Musser) Brown. He married the former Mable LaRue Young on September 29, 1945. She preceded him in death on April 25, 1999. Mr. Brown was a farmer and owned and operated Brown's Potato Farm. He attended the Leatherwood Church.
Survivors include a daughter, LaDonna J. Kammerdiener and her husband, Roger, of Clymer; two sons, Wayne Brown of New Bethlehem and Lex A. Brown and his wife, Tammy, of New Bethlehem; five grandchildren, Kimberly K. Kammerdiener of Fairfield, Ohio; Judith A. Tomayko and her husband, Mark, of Clymer, David A. Kammerdiener and his wife, Susan, of Josephine, Ashley J. Brown and Matthew M. Brown, both of New Bethlehem; and six great grandchildren, Cody A. Tomayko, Adam M. Tomayko, Emma J. Tomayko, Sarah B. Tomayko, Grace Tomayko, and Abby R. Tomayko, all of Clymer.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at the Rupert Funeral Home in New Bethlehem, with the Rev. Jerry Davis, pastor of the Leatherwood Church, officiating.
Interment followed in the Leatherwood Cemetery, Porter Township, Clarion County.
