Alvin Day, senior editor of the Wyoming Democrat, died at his home on Tioga St., Sunday, June 29, age 72-3-18. He was the son of Lysonder C. Day, and born near Forest Lake,Susquehanna Co., He was thrice married, his first wife being Eunice Howe, by whom he had one son, Edward L. of Nicholson. His second wife was Jennie Osterhout, who was the mother of James F. and the third wife was Helen M. Jones, whom survives him. The funeral was held from the residence on Tuesday, Jul 1, interment in Sunnyside Cemetery
