Wanda M. Bell, 84, Kansas City, KS, died Thursday, January 1, 2009 at Claridge Court. Funeral Services will be 12 noon Tuesday, January 6, at the Porter Funeral Home,1835 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, KS where friends may call from 11-12 noon. Burial in the National Cemetery, Ft. Leavenworth, KS. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Lung Association. Wanda was born February 25,1924, the daughter of Bernard and Gertrude Malott in Kansas City, KS and was a lifetime area resident. She had been an examiner for the Internal Revenue Service for 20 years, retiring in 1986. She was a Baptist. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lloyd Bell in 1992 and a brother, Glen Malott. Survivors include four children and their spouses, Deborah Bell and David Bonewits, Dennis Bell, Donald and Mary Bell, Deanna and David Pestock, two sisters, Norma Cole and Marian Sharpe, ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
