SANDRA "CINDY" LOVEJOY BURLINGTON — Cindy Lovejoy, 66, of Burlington, died peacefully with her family at Vermont Respite House on Nov. 7, 2007. She was born in Burlington on Nov. 4, 1941, daughter of Arthur J. and Marie (Bourassa) Fisher. Cindy graduated from Rice Memorial High School in 1960. She worked at IBM for over 20 years. She also worked as a volunteer for FAHC, Hospice of the Champlain Valley and Ladies First. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Parish and recently of St. Lawrence Parish. She is survived by her partner, Allen Porter; her children and their spouses, Kelly and Oscar Garcia of White River Junction, Kevin and Heather Lovejoy of Westford, Lisa and Jeff Senesac of Colchester, Tracy and Peter Lavallee of Scottsdale, Ariz., Christopher Lovejoy and his partner, Nichole Shangraw of Hinesburg, and Michael and Calais Lovejoy of Waterbury; nine grandchildren, Kyle and Kristin Garcia, Katelyn and Emily Senesac; Erica and Nicholas Lovejoy; and Olivia, Delaney and Jaden Lavallee; and her tenth grandchild, Frankie; her former husband, Reginald Lovejoy of Vero Beach, Fla.; her siblings and their spouses, Jackie Mackenzie of Cumberland, R.I., Marie Spaulding of Burlington, Nancy Akey of Burlington, Robert and Jane Fisher of Westford, Katie and Pete Fisher of Stowe, Jeanne and Norman Lefebvre of West Springfield, Mass., John and Kathy Fisher of Burlington, David and Claudette Fisher of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Richard Fisher and his friend, Diane Lockwood of Burlington, Patty and William Mahaney of Raleigh , N.C. ; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Janice Canole and Mary Lou Messier; and a brother, Joseph Fisher.
