William Elmer Davis, 95, of Eupora died Dec. 15, 2006, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora.
Mr. Davis was born May 12, 1911, in Lafayette County. He was a retired farmer and security guard, and a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include four sons, William "Bill" Davis and Jimmy Davis of Jackson, Charles Davis of Stewart and Bobby Davis of Eupora; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Della Belue Davis.
Pallbearers were Rodney Cooper, Jeff Davis, Mike Davis, Scott Dean, Cody Hardin, Shane Knight and Jerry Vaughn.
Services were Dec. 17 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Eupora City Cemetery. The Rev. Travis Gray and Milton Davis officiated.
