James Christopher "Chris" Wise, 23, of Gautier died Feb. 22, 2006, in Hattiesburg.
Mr. Wise born in Ocean Spring on Oct. 6, 1982. He was a senior at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Survivors include his father, James L. "Jim" Wise Jr. and his mother, Barbara Messer Wise of Gautier; a sister, Amanda Plunk of Derma; his paternal grandparents, James L. Wise Sr. and Mary D. Wise of Eupora; and an adopted sister, Brooke E. Wise of Gautier.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James H. "Hub" Messer and Hazel Messer.
A memorial service was Feb. 26 at Gautier First United Methodist Church. Graveside services were Feb. 27 at Eupora City Cemetery.
