Mrs. Evelyn Corya Armstrong, 71, died at 10:15 p.m. Saturday at the home of a sister, Mrs. Carrie Jobes, 203 East Water Street, Greenville. She had been in poor health for an extended period.

The widow of the late Amos Armstrong, she had lived with the sister since the death of her husband in 1930. For many years she had attended the Episcopal church.

Besides the sister, one brother, William A. Corya, of Superior, Wis., survives.

The body has been removed to the Turpen-McKnight funeral home where services will be held at 2:30 p m. Tuesday. The Rev. Phillip Hull will officiate. Burial will be in Greenville cemetery.
