Thomas F. Webster was appointed Postmaster of Elm Springs on 16 May 1860. He served about one year. He was re-appointed on 18 Feb 1876. On 26 Nov 1861 he married Elizabeth Ann Poer whose family lived in the Colville Township in Benton County. Thomas died from Pneumonia, according to "History of the Descendants of Moses Webster", by Mary Becker King, Liz Lester and Art Rubeck, published 1995 and is on deposit at the Springdale Public Library, Springdale, Arkansas.
