Father of Amanda,Randy and Kennedy"George Ruger, 45, passed from this life to the next on April 13, 2005 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., after a valiantly fought battle with cancer.

He was born March 16, 1960 in Ellenville, N.Y.

George is survived by Lula Ruger Bathe, his lifelong friend and the mother of his beloved children: Randy Ruger of Wurtsboro, Amanda Ruger of Port Jervis, and Kennedy Ruger of Glen Spey. He is also survived by his parents, George and Donna Ruger of Ocala, Fla.; his brother, Dale Ruger of Walden; his sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Paul Vinci of Walden; and several nieces and nephews.

George was blessed with the gift of creativity. He was an artist, accomplished horticulturist, and master landscaper. He was also an athlete in his youth, competing in track and wrestling.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at Bob's Spring Street Tavern in Maybrook, N.Y. on Sunday April 24, 2005 from 6-8 PM."
