Revolutionary War Veteran

Twelve members of the DAR Fulton attended the dedication of the bronze plaque at the grave of Jonathan Hall, a veteran of 1776, in the Caughdenoy cemetery on Memorial day. Mrs. Birdlebough, regent of the chapter and Mrs. Charles Richards, chaplain of the chapter, both of Phoenix, were in charge.

Vital Records of Roxbury, Massachusetts to the End of the Year 1849, Volume 1, Page 162 shows that he was born March 4, 1757, the son of Jonathan Hall, Sr. and Mercy Welch. That differs from the information on the grave marker.
