He met his wife Ella Sarah Taylor while living in Kansas and later married on Dec 28, 1887 in Birmingham. They had a son, Horatio A. Bell. Both wife and son are buried in this cemetery. H. N. Bell was a brick mason and in 1900 he lived at 2430 8th Ave, Birmingham, AL.
