Everett George Greenacre, 82, route one, Saranac, died Monday afternoon at Ionia County Memorial hospital following a lingering illness. He was born in London, November 18, 1883, and was married August 6, 1912 at Cassopolis to Etta utter, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Elmer of Alanson and Lee of Beaverton; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Frazee of Portland Mrs. Margaret Voorheis of Ionia; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dewey Zerbe of Decatur. A daughter, Alta, preceded him in death in 1914.
Funeral service will be at Myers funeral home Thursday at 1 p.m. with burial in Tuttle Cemetery.
