Jerry Preston "Bud" Luckett, 70, of Dyersburg, died Monday, July 12, 2004, at his residence.
He was a farmer, a restaurant owner, an avid sportsman, an active supporter of youth sports and active in the Dyer County Fair Association.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Charlie Halliburton officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He leaves three sons, Jason Luckett and wife Amanda of Senatobia, Miss., and Lynn Luckett and Kim and Mark Luckett and wife Kristi, both of Dyersburg; two sisters, Dorothy Parminter of Winter Haven, Fla., and Mary Lee Peckenpaugh of Cleveland, Miss., and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded by a son, Jerry Luckett; a brother, Wallace Luckett.
