PIONEER --- Dorothy Milliken, 60, 201 North State St., Pioneer, died suddenly Wednesday morning at 4:30 at her home apparently of a heart attack.
She was born November 10, 1910 , at Liberty Mills, Michigan. She was married to Joseph Milliken in 1926 at Jackson, and they had resided at Medina and Hudson, Michigan, and moved to Pioneer 15 years ago, to operate Joe's Tavern on Route 15.
She was a member and past matron of Benfield Chapter 310, Order of Eastern Star at Medina. She was a member of Circle I, WSCS of Pioneer United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; a son James (Mike) of Toledo; a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Patricia) Stevenson, Manitau Beach, Michigan; a sister, Mrs. Donald (Louise) Materr, Lansing, Mich.; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The body is at the Brown Funeral Home, 500 West Main St., Hudson, Mich., where services will be Saturday at 1:30, Rev. Estell Kauffman of Pioneer, officiating. Burial will be at Medina Cemetery, Medina, Mich.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday
