The Rev. Vernon K. Taylor, 92, of Underwood, Iowa died Saturday August 28, 2004 at Northcrest Care and Rehab.
The son of Irven and Gertie (Andes) Taylor, he was born October 16, 1911 in rural Sullivan County.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen L. (Mardis) Taylor; one daughter, Nancy Scott of Houston, TX; one son, David Taylor of Neola, IA, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers ad one grandson.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday August 31, 2004 at Cutler-O'Neil-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home with burial at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday September 1, 2004 at the Greencastle Cemetery in Greencastle, MO.
