OBITUARY
"The Kokomo Tribune," Kokomo, Indiana, Page 2, May 14, 1961 LLOYD D. Beard Flora, Indiana--Lloyd D. Beard, 70, Rossville, died at 10:45 Friday at his home after a two year illness.

Born July 21, 1890 on the same farm where he had lived before his death, he was the son of Charles and Julia Ann Squire Beard.

On September 26, 1911, he married Miss Ruth Shaklin who survives.

Mr. Beard was a member of the Cutler Presbyterian Church and the Carroll County Farm Bureau. He was a farmer and owner of the Wildcat Turkey Farm.

Surviving with the widow are one son, Dwight Beard of Rossville; three grandchildren and one foster brother, Virgil Stinebaugh of West Lafayette.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Cutler Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Thomas Russell. Burial will follow in Ball Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the residence until one hour before the services. The Carter Funeral home of Flora, Indiana was in charge of arrangements.
