David Noah Akers, age 36 of White House, died Saturday in Centennial Medical Center in Nashville after an extended illness.
Mr. Akers was a native of McArthur, Ohio and was a songwriter and singer.
He is a son of Earl J. Akers and the late Susan Conn Akers.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Susan Estes Akers of White House; father, Earl J. Akers of Albany, Ohio, four sisters, Mrs. Erma Akers Alexander of Columbia, Ohio; Mrs. Mary Knight of Grove City, Ohio; Mrs. Emma Akers Grow of Vandalia, Ohio; and Mrs. Lana Akers Baratha of Hudson, Ohio; three brothers, Richard H. Akers and Daniel J. Akers, both of Dayton Ohio; and Roger A. Akers of Hillard, Ohio.
Private funeral services were held with Rev. Tim McGeehhe officiating. Burial was in Bethleham Cemetery in Marshall County.
