Mrs Mathilda Homeyer, daughter of the late Frank and Matikda Poeppelmeyer nee Schombert was born in Warren County, Missouri 20 November, 1883. On 14 February 1914 she was united in marriage with Henry Homeyer and they established their home on a farm near New Haven. Two children were born to the couple, both preceeding their mother in death. A son died in infancy and a daughter at the age of 4. Mr Homeyer died in 1942. She was hospitalized for many years at the State Hospital in Fultong and for the past 5 years at Capital Avenue Rest Home in Jefferson City where she entered into rest May 2, 1965 at the age of 81 years, 5 months, and 12 days. She is survived by her sister, Mrs Adele Mittler of Washington, Missouri,. Her funeral was held at Warrenton on May 5 with interment in Holstein.
