Steve E. Grable

Steve E. Grable, route 1, died Sunday at a St. Joseph hospital. He was 65.

Born in Frazer, Mr. Grable had lived on a farm near Faucett for the past 45 years. He was also a bus driver for the Mid-Buchanan school until his retirement last May.

He was a member of the Agency Christian Church and belonged to the Rowly Masonic Lodge of Dearborn of which he was a past master.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Stanton Grable of the home; a son, Eugene E. Grable of St. Joseph; a daughter, Mrs. Joann Schultz of Wathena; his mother, Mrs. Carrie Grable, Dearborn; two brothers, Joseph Grable, Dearborn, and Robert Grable, St. Joseph; six sisters, Mrs. Ruby Richardson and Mrs. Faye Baber, both of St. Joseph; Mrs. Winifred Carkins, Faucett; Mrs. Anna Mae Ward, Titusville, Fla.; Mrs. Helen Jean Anderson, Dearborn, and Mrs. Beverly Nieman, Lenexa, Kan., eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Service arrangements are pending at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith and Sidenfaden mortuary.
