Croswell
Sarah L. Shaver, age 92, of Croswell, formerly of Peck, went home to be with our Lord on December 29, 2008 in Medi-Lodge of Port Huron.
She was born on September 11, 1916 in Joaquin, Texas to the late Henry and Sallie Taylor.

She married Cecil (Bud) Shaver on May 13, 1943 in Sarasota, Florida. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1982.

Sarah was a member of the Peck Assembly of God Church for the past 56 years.

She retired in 1981 from Deckerville Die Form with 18 years of service.

Surviving are four daughters, Linda (Kent) France of Lexington, Beverly (Gary) Wilson of Chesterfield, Donna (Jay) Kandler of Croswell and Sally (Brian) Snider of Tokyo, Japan; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; one brother; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Pomeroy Funeral Home in Lexington. Friends may call at the Pomeroy Funeral Home in Lexington from 2-9 on Tuesday.

Interment will be in the Capac Cemetery.
