SCOTT CITY - Naomi Inez Miller, 88, died at 10 p.m. April 4, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Sept. 19, 1913, at Grays Point, daughter of the late George William and Ambie Selena Bennett Keesee, she owned and operated Naomi's Beauty Shop. She was a member of the Broadway United Methodist Church in Scott City.

On March 28, 1934, at Jonesboro, Ill., she married Ralph Miller who preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1995.

Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Annette Miller of Pine Bluff, Ark., Gary and Gail Miller of Sheridan, Ark., and Dr. Paul and Kristy Miller of Quincy, Ill.; one daughter and son-in-law, Selena and Roy Hartle Sr. of Scott City; one sister, Elva Habum of Scott City; 11 grandchildren, Pamela Hendrix of Pine Bluff, Bradley Miller of Tucson, Ariz.; David Miller of Clarksville, Tenn., Charles Miller of Antioch, Calif., Jennifer Miller and Matthew Miller of Sheridan, Jason Miller of Baltimore, Md., Solomon Miller and Micah Miller of Quincy and Roy Hartle Jr. and Greg Hartle of Scott City; and four great-grandchildren.

Six brothers, three sisters and one grandchild also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday. The Revs. Larry Lawman, Vester Keesee and Charles Lance will officiate.

Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: David Miller, Charles Miller, Matthew Miller, Jason Miller, Roy Hartle Jr. and Greg Hartle.
