A Chincoteague, VA, resident, Donald was a graduate of the University of Missouri where he was a brother of the Missouri Alpha chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.
Following his Air Force service, Donald worked as a course coordinator with the continuing engineering education program at George Washington University.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Jean Aldridge; his parents and a brother, Harold Aldridge. Surviving are his wife, Connie Aldridge; a sister, Mary Lou Bishop; five children, Dean Aldridge, Darren Wilson, Guy Wilson, Dara Aldridge and Monique Brock; and 10 grandchildren.
Memorial services were at Christ United Methodist Church in Chinocoteague, VA, under the direction of Holloway Funeral Home of Salisbury, MD.
