Julia A. Petreikis, 81, of Springfield died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Home.
She was born Jan. 9, 1916, in Georgetown, the daughter of Stanley and Stella Molatis Bartashies. She married Frank C. Petreikis in 1936; he preceded her in death in 1986. Mrs. Petreikis was a Springfield resident most of her life. She was employed as a clerk by Sangamo Electric for many years. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, as well as the Sangamo Club and AARP for several years.
Survivors: a sister, Sophie Johnson of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: Mass, St. Aloysius Catholic Church, the Rev. John Titus officiating. Burial: Calvary Cemetery.
