Clarence C. Medina, age 65, a lifelong resident of Dixon, New Mexico, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2008. He was preceded in death by a newborn infant, Tina Marie; parents, Frank and Calicia Medina; father-in-law Joe Valdez. Clarence retired from the State of New Mexico and later became a School Bus Contractor for the Espanola Public Schools. His favorite pastimes were riding his four wheeler with his grandchildren, gardening, watching wrestling and the Denver Broncos. Clarence was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be dearly missed. Clarence is survived by his wife, Josie Medina of Dixon; two sons, Freddie Medina, and Clarence Jr. Medina and wife Laverne; daughter, Michelle Medina and companion Anthony Knitter; Michelle Sanchez, whom was like a daughter to Clarence; six grandchildren, Amberlee, Frankie, Freddie Jr, Jason, Katie, and Jalyssa; mother in law, Fedelina Valdez; sisters, Marcella Medina of Dixon, Helen Martinez and Husband Amado of Velarde, Betty Reynolds and husband Charlie of Los Luceros, Dolores Sherman and husband David of Dixon; and sister-in-law Filomena Martinez of Espanola. Public visitation was Monday, December 15, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home, with a Devotional service following at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 11:00 p.m. at the Apostolic Praise Temple in Dixon, with burial following at the Apostolic Praise Temple Cemetery. Assisting the family as pallbearers will be, Nelson Trujillo, Arturo Medina, Paul Valdez, Ben Valdez, Michael Griego, Robert Romero. Honorary Pallbearers will be all his grandchildren, Amberlee Romero, Frankie Medina, Freddie Medina Jr., Jason Medina, Katie Medina, and Jalyssa Knitter. The family of Clarence C.
