Mrs. Leoma J. Ashley, 77, of Grosse Point, Mich., formerly of DeWitt County, died Jan. 5 in Grosse Point.
Funeral services were held Jan. 9 at the Dawson and Wikoff Funeral Home in Decatur with burial in Fairlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Ashley, who lived in Decatur before going to Grosse Point three years ago, was born Aug. 16, 1884 in Kenney, a daughter of John Curtis and Mary Eliza Burns Scott. She married Harry M. Ashley in 1904 in Decatur. He died December 11, 1941.
Survivors include a son, Harry Ashley of Lexington, Ky., and a daughter, Mrs. Helen Nelson of Grosse Point, Mich.; a brother, A.H. Scott of Detroit, Mich.; and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Ashley was a member of the DeWitt County Daughters of the American Revolution.
