Word was received in Chico last night of the death in Marshfield, Oregon, of Mrs. Caroline Burch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Merriman [sic], 4026 Sixth street. The remains will be sent to this city and will arrive here Friday morning. Funeral services will be conducted on the afternoon of the same day, in Fetters & Williams parlors.
The deceased is the wife of Franklin Burch [sic]. Both were former residents of this city.
