Richard T. Tucker, 93, of 816 W. Concord St., Marion, died at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday in the Creal Springs Nursing Home. He was born in Murray, KY, Feb. 3, 1870, a son of William and Mary Fort Tucker. He was married to Nora King in 1893. She died in 1905. He was married to Birdie (sic) Mohler in 1916. He was a retired miner and member of the Second Baptist Church.
Mr. Tucker leaves his wife and a sister, Mrs. Hattie Flanagan of Sweeney, Texas.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Mitchell Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. J.D. McCarty will officiate. Burial will be in Fountain Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. today.
