This is our second brother, Billy. He died at age nine due to a burst appendix. Medicine was so much different then and when peritonitis set in, Billy could not be saved. Three of us don't know Billy at all, except thru stories our oldest brother tells. Billy was of small stature for his age and could run like the wind. Running was his favorite thing to do. Perhaps someday I will get to meet my older brother. I am told you used to say about me - She is so pretty in the face.
Our sister, Jane Ann, was born on October 26, 1936 - two months later Billy died.
Thanks to our brother, Tom Ward, for the picture of Mom and Billy.

May the light of Heaven shine on your grave. May the smile of God light you to Glory.
