Lucy Edna Hagar Ferguson, Lafayette, Calif., died Aug 9 at the age of 96 years, eight and one-half months. Rites were conducted in Lafayette.
Mrs. Ferguson was born near Vandalia, Nov. 23, 1885, the daughter of William Burgess and Mary Susan Bramblett Hagar. She was married to James Flynn Ferguson, son of James Augustus and Virginia Keziah Moore Ferguson, Dec. 23, 1906. She was preceded in death by her husband Feb 29, 1968, and a son, James Hagar Ferguson, April 20, 1978.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Emory (Lillian) O. Moore, Moraga, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Jean Harvey Ferguson, Sacramento, Calif., and granddaughters, Lois Ellen Ferguson, Sacramento, and Margaret A. Maulin, Commander, U.S. Navy, Waldorf, Md.; grandson, James Roy Ferguson, U.S.A.F., Turkey; a brother, Robert Thornton Hagar, Bremerton, Wash., and a sister, Eulalie Lorraine Baer, St. Petersburg, Fla.
