Mrs. Epperson was born in Provo December 18, 1858, a daughter of David and Julia Ann Van Waganen. For the major part of her life she lived at Provo and later moved to Wasatch county. She came to Salt Lake City 18 years ago.
Surviving are three sons, Lawrence, Amos and Emery G. Epperson of Salt Lake City; two daughters, Mrs. Lorinda Arrowsmith of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Jane Thomas of San Diego, Cal.; four brothers, David L., Edwin, George C. and Alma Van Waganen of Provo; three sisters, Mrs. Emily Murdock of Provo, Mrs. Lettie Sloan of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Minnie Penrod of Provo; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p. m. in the Fourth L. D. S. ward chapel in Provo. Friends may call at the Deseret mortuary, 36 East Seventh South street, Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday until 11 a. m. and at the church in Provo 30 minutes prior to services. Burial will take place in the Provo City cemetery.
