MRS. ANNA HELLER DEAD

Mrs. Anna Heller, aged 84 years and six months, died at the residence of Mrs. R. H. Heller at 8:45am Wednesday after an illness of fourteen weeks.
Mrs. Heller had been a resident of Illinois until about four months ago, when it was found necessary to remove her to Dubuque for medical treatment. Mrs. Heller was universally beloved and her death is the cause of deep sorrow. She is survived by three sons, Henry of East Dubuque, William of Rice township, Jo Daviess County, and R. H. Heller of Dubuque, also one brother, Henry Schmidt, of Schapville, Ill. The funeral will be held from the home residence 1818 Clay Street, at 2pm Friday to Linwood cemetery.

Well Known Woman Laid To Rest At Linwood Cemetery at Two O' Clock

The funeral of Mrs. Anna Margaret Heller was held from the residence of her son, Mr. Richard Heller, to Linwood Cemetery at two o'clock this afternoon. Pastor Ficke of Immanuel Church officiated.
Mrs. Heller was born in Germany in 1819 and was there married in the year 1838. Five sons and two daughters were born there. After the death of her husband in 1853 she moved to America and lived six years in New York. She came to Galena and spent the last years of her life in that vicinity. As she felt the end drawing near, she desired to be taken to the home of Mr. Richard Heller of this city. This was done and there she was lovingly attended until death released the patient sufferer.
She is survived by three sons, Henry, of East Dubuque, William, of Rice Township, Jo Daviess County, Richard, of Dubuque, one brother, Henry Schmidt, of Shotville, Wis., and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
