Born June 24, 1901, in Pulaski County, he was the son of Joseph and Laura B. Measel Epperson.
His wife, the former Mamie Frances Herrin, preceded him in death, as did his son, Foster Epperson.
Survivors include a brother, Raymond Epperson, Cincinnati; two sisters, Fern Baseore, Toledo, Ohio, and Ruby Osborne, Eubank; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were this morning at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Morris and Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill, with Bro. Harold Carter officiating.
Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery.
