Gilmore, Charlene, 75, of Newalla, passed away December 23, 2008. She was born January 20, 1933 to Charles and Olga (Peel) McGuire. Charlene was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, spending time with family, and cooking. She graduated from Central High School and was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church and a lifetime member of MLRA. She is survived by 3 sons, 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, 1 aunt, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Gilmore, daughter Echo Gilmore Lundy, and her parents. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 27, 2008, at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
