Mrs. Lila Frances Seest 41. a former Mason City resident, died at 6:30 p. m. Friday at St. Frances Hospital in Peoria, where she had been a patient about 10 days. She was taken to the Johnson Funeral Home in Manito. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. (standard) Monday at the Mason City Baptist Church, with the Rev. Oscar Ouverson officiating. Burial will be in Mason City Cemetery. She was born Sept. 7, 1910, In Weaubleau, Mo., a daughter of Norman and Ellen Lamb Penny. She married Charles Seest in December of 1935 at Bolivar, Mo. Surviving are her husband; her parents of Yucaipa, Calif.; four sons, Donald, Norman, Lyle and Darrell, all at home; one brother, Loren Penny, Weaubleau, Mo.
