Ethel M. Hanks, 82, 2005 Virginia Ave., widow of Adrian L. Hanks, died Saturday morning at Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Lovington, Ill., Mrs. Hanks moved to Muncie six years ago.
Surviving are her son, Adrian L. (Sonny) Hanks, Muncie; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Young, Decatur, and Mrs. Ann Hopkins, Mulberry Grove, Ill.; three brothers, John, Leonard and Fred Baker, all of Decatur; two granddaughters and two great-granddaughters.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Boling Springs Cemetery at Decatur. Friends may call at Dawson-Wikoff Funeral Home, Decatur, from 6-9 p.m. Monday. Meeks Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.
