Loda Glass, 99, of Gill Hollow Road, Coalport RD, died Thursday, July 1, 1982, in Epworth Manor, Tyrone. She was born June 7, 1883, in Madera, the daughter of James N. and Mary Anetta (Krise) Alexander, and married Amos J. Glass, who died Nov. 4, 1958. Surviving are eight children: Elliot A., Mrs. Ellen Miller, Mrs. Mary Jane Dillon and Mrs. Dessie R. Faretta of Coalport RD; Mrs. Loda Mae Bean of Akron, Iowa; Mrs. Essis Baker of Coraopolis, Mrs. Isabell Mason of Baltimore, Md. and Mrs. Margaret Mussen of Cromwell, Conn.; 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters: Mrs. Eliza Norman of Lacy, Wash.; Mrs. Sarah Neerhof of Osceola Mills and Mrs. Pearl Sinclair of Cherry Tree. A son, Leonard, died June 8, 1982. Mrs. Glass was a member of the Utahville United Methodist Church and Glasgow Ladies Aid Society. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday in the Plass Funeral Home, Glasgow.
