Blandburg - Mrs. Naomi L. Gable, 84, of Elkhart, Ind., formerly of Blandburg, died Tuesday in the Peterson Nursing Home, Goshen, Ind. She was born in Glasgow, Oct. 9, 1888, a daughter of A. C. and Jennie [(Stum)] Lovell. She was married to John Gable who died in 1918. She is survived by a son, Richard L., Elkhart; four granddaughters and one great-granddaughter; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Metzger, Altoona and a brother Arthur R. Lovell, Blandburg. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart. Funeral services will be held at 2 a.m. tomorrow from the Russell L. Troxell Funeral Home, Glasgow, with the Rev. Michael Brendle officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow. Friends may call in the funeral home from 2 p.m. today until the services tomorrow. (The Progress July 5, 1973)
