"Mr. and Mrs. Charles Langley of Benld were guests of honor at a family gathering at Wenzels grove near Sawyerville last Sunday. Mrs. Langley observed her 83rd birthday. Mr. Langley is 87 and the couple will be married 68 years in October.

Their children are as follows: Paul Langley and Mrs. Ruby Johnson of Staunton, Coleman Langley of South Peoria, Mrs. Julia Emmons, Francy Prairie, Mrs. Ted Schweppe of Sawyerville, Mrs. Joe Klobnak of Benld, Felix Langley of Sawyerville, Elzie Langley of Peoria, Jesse Langley of Gillespie, Lawrence Langley and Mrs. Ambrose Darnell of McDaniels, Ky., and Mrs. Dan Keating of Chicago. With the exception of the last three named, all children were present."
