Mr. Key worked as a backhoe operator in Barstow, California and had lived in Tecumseh the past 35 years where he was a member of Oak Grove Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, brother Darrell Key and sister, Evelyn Mayes.
Survivors include his step-grandson, Wendell Casteel of Arlington, Texas, brother, Ira Key of Barstow, California, three nieces, Mary Leaks of Barstow, Kathy Solaegui of Las Vegas and Vicky Brewer of Oklahoma, two nephews, Charles Key and Robert Lemons, both of California, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James McCalip officiating. Burial will be in Tecumseh Cemetery.
