He was a farmer and spent his entire life in the same community. He died in a automobile accident with his wife Margaret. He was married to Margaret Alice Eblen at Orient on 18 Jun 1950. He is survived b y one son, Ronald Dean Blazek who was five years of age; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blazek, Sr; two brothers LeRoy Blazek, Prescott, and Edward who is surving with the US Armed forces in Germany; four sisters Mrs. Clarine Morris of Maquoketa, Mrs. Betty Maeder of near Nevinville, Mrs Barbara Maeder of near Creston and Coleen, at home. Double funeral services were held fro him and his wife Margaret, at the Methodist church in Nevinville 9 Aug 1956 at 2pm with the Rev Robert W. Swick in charge. He served in World War II. The Williamson post of the American Legion conducted military services for Mr. Blazek at the Bohemian National cemetery at Williamson. Music for the services was furnished by Mrs Harry Kralik and Mrs. Dale Kinyon accompanied by Mrs. Dewey Bartlelt. The pall bearers were Ronald Jackson, James Geary, Burton Blazek, John Blazek, John Gibson, and Lowell Young.
