Estelle Jenkins, 90, of Waynesboro, formerly of Laurel, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004 at Magnolia Haven Personal Care in Waynesboro. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. tomorrow at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel with burial in the Antioch Cemetery, Lower Myrick Rd. in Laurel. The Rev. Charles Gordon and Brad Smith will officiate. She was a resident of Jones County for 62 years and was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She retired from Arthur's Men's Store in alterations. She was a member of Antioch Home Demonstration Club and a 4-H leader for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Willard Turner Jenkins. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Betsy Jenkins of Danville, Calif.; her daughter and son-in-law, Dee and Ned Robertson of Metairie, La.; her grandchildren, James Robertson II of Marerro, La., Rene Kleker of Prosper, Texas and Turner Jenkins of San Diego; and her great-grandchild, Rachel Kleker of Prosper, Texas. Visitation will begin 9 a.m. tomorrow at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
