Mrs. Jessie L. Rogers, 84, of Latham, died July 1 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Services are being held Thursday afternoon in Dawson and Wikoff Funeral Home with burial in Graceland Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Vernie Barnett will be in charge.
Mrs. Rogers was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of Frank and Savilla Blackledge Carl.
She was married to Fred Rogers on Jan. 10, 1907, in St Louis, MO. He died Nov. 20, 1958.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Rena) Albert of Warrensburg; and Mrs. Carl (Lulu) Spittler of Decatur; an adopted son, Donald L. Rogers of Latham; a stepson, Bert A. Rogers of Van Nuys, Calif.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
