A longtime resident of Las Cruces, he was retired from Skyview Cooling as a heavy equipment operator. Tomas was a loving and wonderful husband and father who was a mentor to many. A very friendly man, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Tomas was survived by three sons; Rafael R. Agosto, Tomas R. Agosto Jr., and Felix R. Agosto all of Las Cruces. Three daughters, Esther R. Agosto of Las Cruces; Ramona M.J. Agosto Rendon of Lordsburg, NM, and Concepcion T. Agosto Hernandez of El Paso, TX. He was also survived by one brother, Benny Agosto of Arizona; two sisters Andrea Agosto of Las Cruces and Isabel Agosto of California, 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Tomas was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years Maria T. Agosto in November of 2002.
The Funeral Liturgy was held at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church with Fr. Enrique López Escalera officiating. The Rite of Committal followed at the Masonic Cemetery.
