A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2005, in Good Shepherd Community Church in Boring for Irving "Gus" Turner , who died March 12 at age 92.
Mr. Turner was born Aug. 29, 1912, in Portland, and was raised in Cleveland. During World War II, he served in the Army in Europe. He was an assistant buyer and later merchandise manager for Meier & Frank, where he worked for 32 years. In 1969, he married Nancy Kasner; she died in 2001.

Survivors include his son, Larry; daughters, Kathleen Pauley and Diana Whitaker; sister, Dorothy Kretz; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
