Son of Thomas Burton Crapps, Sr., who died in the civil war while serving for the CSA. Thomas Jr. was born while his father was away serving. Shown here with second wife. Tallest son standing in the center of the back row is Joseph Oliver Crapps, mothered by Nancy Priscilla Deen, TBC Jr.'s first wife.
