Thomas enlisted in the Navy in 1940 after serving on the USS Colorado in the Pacific he was commisioned as an Ensign in 1944.
After WW II he went to work for Bell Telephone and retired from there in 1974.
He was creamated and his ashes were mixed with Betty's in
one urn so that they could never be seperated. (At their
request.) The heart in their joint headstone reads "Together Forever".
