Will Abbey, 76, an Orleans township farmer, died at his home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday after being ill for several years.
He was born in Orleans September, 9, 1872, and spent his entire life in that community. He married Emma Todd of Morley February 2, 1894, and they celebrated their 55th anniversary this year. He was a member of the Woodsman lodge.
Surviving are the wife, a son, Harold and one grandchild all of Orleans.
Funeral services will be held from the farm home Friday, April 1 at 2 p.m.. with the Rev. R.A. Rook officiating. Interment will be in the family lot in Palo Cemetery. The body was returned to the home Wednesday afternoon from the Boyton Funeral Home.
