Estelle Muston, 81, of Rockdale, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 in the Scott & White Hospital in Temple. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Rev. Patrick Muston of Selah Christian Church in North Carolina officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.
Mrs. Muston, a homemaker, was born March 10, 1924 in Wharton County to Jerome and Myrtle (Rozell) Dreher.
She married Irvin G. Muston on Oct. 30, 1944 in Rockdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin G. Muston on Aug. 13, 1992; brother, William Jack Dreher; great-grandson, Jonathon Lee Hayes in 1997 and her parents.
Survivors include son, Irvin G. Muston Jr. and wife Ann of Jacksonville, Florida; four daughters, Janice Byrd and husband Robert of League City, Sandra Knipper of Houston, Joan Houston and husband Louis of Freeport, Judith Tovar of Rockdale; five sisters, Vera Robinson and husband Paul of Houston, Johnnie Sue Roberts of Rockdale, Geraldine Hosek and husband Alex of Rockdale, Marilyn Orsak of Rockdale, Peggy Hosek and husband Jerry of Rockdale; 11 grandchildren, Patrick, Matthew, David, Deana, Kenneth, Kimberly, Tammy, Jennifer, D.W., Wesley and Amy; 11 great-grandchildren
Pallbearers included David Denny, Matthew Muston, Wesley Miller, Darrin Duke, David Conover and John Conover.
